I was looking behind the front sight earlier because there is that stamp of the thing that looks like a flaming ball or something. Also, yeah, it does have the bayonet lug attachment. Steve OK, then its either a very late WW2 model or its been thru a rebuild. There is normal wear on the bolt and receiver but overall, I think it's in great shape. it's much more beefy than I would expect for such a small calibre rifle.
